Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a famous and diverse trekking route in Nepal, located in the north-central Himalayas around the Annapurna massif. This legendary trail leads through lush valleys, deserts, and snow-capped peaks, showcasing a captivating mix of geography, climate, and culture. The trek’s highest point, Thorong La Pass (5,416m), offers breathtaking views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, and showcases the contrasting green forests of the east and the barren west.
The trek starts in Besisahar, a warm subtropical area with terraced rice fields, and continues through Chame and Pisang. Here, dense oak and rhododendron forests transition into rocky ridgelines and alpine meadows. As the elevation rises, the landscape changes significantly, leading to the dry, windy area of Manang, a stunning valley surrounded by high cliffs and dominated by Annapurna II and Gangapurna.
